Ecuador’s Attorney General, Iñigo Salvador, unveiled the so-called punitive “Tablet of Disgrace” at the presidential palace on Dec. 21, 2020. The installation is part of the judicial sentence against ex-President Rafael Correa and members of his administration for their role in the bribery scandal known as “Caso Sobornos 2012-2016.”

The memorial tablet is located on the corner of the Palacio Carondolet at the intersection of calle Chile y García Moreno in the center of Quito.
